Beaten Up With Nowhere to Go

[Well if this wasn't a sorry sight.

Kaitou was stumbling along, holding a wounded shoulder as he was making his way to the only people who he trusted to get him help. And with a groan, he collapsed in the front of Myodoun Academy, face first on the ground.

It wasn't long till students started noticing this, and Kaitou groaned as he tried to get up. He was also clutching onto a familiar looking cooler with a shrill elephant-like miniature sound trumpeting from inside.

With a heave, he looked up at the nearest student, biting out,] Call your student body president... and get me to the infirmary...

[Someone help? Looks like he got severely thrashed again.]

Well, Yuri and Kendrix are. Tsukasa's not on the community though but it's not like he's unaware of the existence of other worlds.

Wait... are you suggesting I'm philandering?

I asked you about relationships involving strange romance situations and you listed four individuals, one of whom isn't even aware of such activities. At the very least you seem committed to a set group of individuals, which is the only saving grace in this instance!

[ PHILANDERER!!! ]

[With that, he laughed, rubbing his head.] I guess I termed it wrong. Technically I'm involved with Yuri, and my relationship with Kendrix is kind of sort of surrogate. Tsukasa is unaware of my interest in him romantically.

You're still interested in both romantically though?

[ So you're only cheating in your heart..!! ]

Well... yeah, but I dunno if I can talk to Tsukasa about that. I mean, he's sort of the reason why the whole mess starts and ends in a fireball.

Yuri I can talk to at least and Kendrix keeps me sane. So...

Does Miss Yuri know you have feelings for this Mister Tsukasa?

I think I mentioned it to her...? [There was uncertainty in his voice. Who did he tell about it...? Oh crap, he only told Sena he was interested in guys once...]

[Yeah that's a good point, and Kaitou doesn't want to worry Lydia that much at all... so...]

You know, months ago before I met everyone else, I would have thought doing the right thing would have just been a silly thing to do. Now, it's kind of getting easier.

Were you not a good person before?

[ This.. actually seems to interest her a lot. ]

In the loosest sense possible. I had a tumultuous past which lead to me wandering the worlds until I obtained my powers. I tried a lot to reclaim my world from the evil that conquered it without success. In the end I had to rely on friends I made here in the community to do it.

It sounds like you've become a much better person now that you've learned to rely on more than just yourself.

[ There's a soft smile on her lips. She's slightly concerned about something else away from this conversation, but.. ] I'm happy for you.

Well it's been a long, stubborn haul into that sort of thing. I still don't like being told what to do, but I think I can afford not being like that sometimes.

It's good to not always do what you're told, but if you're doing the right thing most of the time then I don't see anyone having a problem.

Well that's more giving than I once was at least. I used to be something of a career thief, seeking treasures.

So you're more of a pirate than a treasure hunter?

[ Of course... she doesn't seem to be judging him too much for that. ]

Just don't go after anything that is rumored to have fairies floating about. Most people end up dead that way.

I follow pirates if that's what you mean. I'd rather take what will be locked away in a treasure trove for years and bring it into the light.
